YOU can be a Part
of an Opportunity
to act upon your cherished Beliefs.
Is THIS right for you?
- If you take a look at the findings in the field of political linguistics, you discover that people the world over use the same terms with quite different meanings. Even persons in the same state, community and family use words that hold a different meaning for each. The oft disaster is that each person usually expects the other to know what they mean without verification. Before language, we could not infer that time and life were finite and unchanging. For centuries, we have spoken and written of what we see and know as if by our experience everything came to a standstill. These illusions frustrate our spiritual perceptiveness. Spiritually, truth is reality, and, reality is change.
- Growing to be the best that you can be takes risk, courage, and patience.
It requires honest and open interaction with others and with yourself.
Intellectual humility enables you to expand your awareness.
Integrating and an ability to utilize your skills takes practice.
Awareness of reality brings depression, shame, and guilt ---
--- but it also provides an opportunity for joy, pride, and contentment ---
--- positive self-esteem and minimized effort for maximized achievement ---
--- optimized living.
- YOU have learned to accept the benefit of others while joining in.
YOU do not allow yourself to feel held hostage to the demands of others in order to escape rejection or abandonment. YOU know that some persons will not be sincere and can only be trusted when their selfish aims are benefiting. YOU know that you yourself, or others, as the humans we are, may become sick, be involved in an accident, choose another employment field or location, or die. Yet, YOU strive always to enjoy and share their life with others who also respect themselves, the world, and God.
- There is a bit of you in every action you take.
Your actions are what forms a memory of you for others. The pattern of your actions suggests to others the values you hold and the decision-making patterns you follow. Cultural expectations developed out of human-authority imprinting, mentoring, education, and social reward encourage us to assume that each person has a static personality with little ability for change. Every energy block we accumulate contributes to this rigidness and intolerance. The more norms that our culture rewards and penalizes, the more we either adopt, react, or rebel against commonly expressed behaviors. If we adopt them, we are considered acceptable, If we react and do the opposite, we are considered bad, evil, or criminal. A rebel breaks this for-against pattern selection by aggressively insisting that values expressed are values enforced.
- Committing to values is a characteristic of a healthy adult.
Tolerance and flexibility towards others while confidence to one's own beliefs enables a healthy adult to preserve their individuality without being threatened by and without threatening the individuality of others. Social standards and abstract ideals are accepted for what they really are: representations of generally accepted illusions of what is expected would be adopted within an intellectualized perfect social structure. There is often little "heart" and little tolerance for individuality of skills, experience, or resources within such confines. A healthy adult will be very aware of these dynamics and variations and in an appreciation of them will recognize that the greatest values of all for peace, harmony and happiness are those of freedom and equality.
- We desperately need ... experiences that genuinely promote increased self-care, self-discovery, and opportunities for increased control of one's own life. ... We should teach them ... get parents and teachers together ... what you have to do is really put the learners in charge ... a feeling that it really is up to them. ... communities .... not only skill empowerment, but process empowerment. ... We're talking about big changes in professional roles, ... shifting the initiative ... to the individual. ... (Prosumers) will be much more assertive. Their questions will be sharper, they will demand more information, more education ... greater detail, ... expect good answers.
- Flexibility and self-discipline in the expression of one's emotions translates into relaxed fulfillment of desires for a healthy adult. Emotions are expressed and perceived clearly with little avenue for misunderstanding and feedback and sharing further eliminate the potential for negative outcomes. Consistency of positive interaction leads to an expectation of the positive and an increasing bond of trust.
- "People with a strong sense of personal identity have difficulty being good actors. Good actors can pretend. They can change their identity."
- If you value your life, health, occupation, and those around you --- use my experience as a motivator. You can use my example to find alternatives which are best for you WITHOUT the confusion, losses, grieves, turmoils, and uncertainties I have had to work through.
- It may take you an hour to review the contents of this section of the Earthtym.net Website. Is your future longevity and the health of your loved ones worth that much time?
- Spiritually, ignorance is no defence. You are responsible for your actions. If you regret those actions, learn better responses --- and encourage them in others. The spiritually aware person does not shoot the suspected rapist and then offer apologies to the dying person who only wanted to ask for help. It is always easy to act first and suffer shame and guilt later. That's not good enough. Your fear is a factor of the weakness of your spiritual skills and awareness. The pattern only changes when we make the effort to develop our awareness of ourselves, and from that, an awareness of others.
- Tolerance, flexibility, and growth are a part of being honest.
If you are honest with yourself, you have to admit that you are not perfect. If you are not perfect, you do not have all of the answers and those you have may be incorrect. You may not have all of the information that is relevant or available. You may not have understood the question accurately as it was expressed.
- Unless you are willing to be humble and seek truth first before acceptance, you are just standing still. Admitting that you have changed your mind, as it applies, invites those around you to acknowledge your growth and to grow themselves by examining the changes you have made. You prove to them that you are human and that as part of the human condition one must continue to grow in order to become and remain healthy. Tissue that ceases to grow, and regenerate, dies.
- "... the moment of truth, the extreme confrontation of the personality with itself and at the same time its last -- erroneous -- attempt to fight and resist a crucial inner change. ... one needs to go forward empty handed if one is to be able to take hold of the new life that is coming towards one; that one has to give oneself up completely to be totally reborn."
- YOU realize that external harmony is a reflection of YOUR internal state of balance and that it is within YOUR own power to make an inner change and in this way also influence the harmony of others. This realization keeps YOU focused in the Present, unafraid of the Past, nor projecting fears and insecurities into the Future.
- The spiritual perspective is to live vibrantly in the present reality while acknowledging the errors of the past and one's capability for change growing into an ever improving future with the certainty and hope available through the reality of Guidance. Acknowledging that reality and seeking, receiving, and following Guidance strengthens us spiritually.
- AN AIM OF OPTIMAL NUTRITION IS BALANCE ... neither to over-stimulate all our organs into burnout nor to relax them into inactivity. Either can be fatal. We help our body the most when we supply enough stimulating and relaxing foods to it for adequate intake of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other micro-components ... while pacing the vitality of each organ relevant to the negative stress challenges it is having to cope with. These requirements are dynamic. They change as often as our acknowledged and unacknowledged stress levels change. Dramatic changes can occur within hours.
- In a form of hypocrisy of ritual, the electron theory of electricity has continued to be taught to the masses to this very day (2010). History has demonstrated that the more accurate explanation is irrelevant, if politically, it is easier to convey authority and certainty by catering to the perceptual level of the masses. Massive change, even for the purposes of accuracy, better relevancy, and truth ... are revolutionary ... and political leaders lose their power and authority in revolutions.
- Your capacity for improved communication skills, if acted on now with self-discipline, will greatly improve your productive effectiveness and remove many of the previous anxieties and frustrations from your life. Old patterns of defeat and loss will fade away.
- Your past constant and reactive behavior comforted others with an assumption that they knew you ... your capabilities, limits, hot buttons, weaknesses, shared habits and prejudices. You were defined, stable, predictable, able to be manipulated. Their confidence in your INABILITY to change and grow reaffirms their own weakness in avoiding the risk of personal growth.
- Optimization of Constructive Change and Focused Decision-Making.
- Dependency always encourages complacency, routine, and reduced levels of flexibility and awareness --- all factors which encourage the development of ill health. There are few absolutes in reality. One is that it is always more healthful to be aware of and skilled in several alternatives than to be solely dependent upon one solution.
- A CONSISTENT FINDING of Mr. Sennett has been that most people have energy blocks and most people with energy blocks are in denial of the true underlying feelings and reactions associated with that energy block or set of blocks. If the client is rationalizing (making excuses) about why she/he is failing in some area and the therapist is further rationalizing (assuming and justifying) as to which Essence is appropriate, the accuracy of such conclusions could fall to 25% or less! Consider that the accuracy rate of rationalized decision-making averages 50%: the same as chance; Higher-Self guidance accuracy is 100%
- IN NORTH AMERICAN CULTURES, the individual is taught to believe that level of rationalized decision-making accuracy is high. This is largely by default. Since most institutionalized learning systems are authoritarian-biased, the expert, as other-than-oneself can only be sustained as an authority by selectively choosing to throw out and forget the mistakes that are made ... and to proudly proclaim and advertise the relatively few successes achieved.
- When you have the freedom to take self-direction over your awareness, your dignity, and the responsibility behind your choices, just going along for the ride in life is selling life short.
