Composite Choices.
Social activities require the co-operation of a number of persons for temporary periods of time. They include most work, many eating, a great variation of game playing, and a number of rituals. The latter are often expressed automatically as a form of non-verbal language and are imprinted by the modeling or demonstration of reactive behaviours from birth.
These group activities come to be built on and maintained by expectations and assumptions that can become so implicit that individuals within the social group cannot see any alternative choices, believe that an alternative is wrong, evil, or somehow weird or insane. Social activities sanction ways of behaving, experiencing acceptance and happiness, and of expecting peacefulness, order, security.
The Power of Acceptance and Rejection within societies provide a natural extension of the co-dependency of the infant on the parent when independence and self-esteem are not encouraged for the child. Without these means of establishing relevancy of actions and a participation by enlightened self-interest, the socialite must surrender to the authority of public opinion as a requirement for survival.
This uniformity of perspective reduces confusion, discussion, conflict, and violence ... from one involving assertive and independent-minded emotionally mature adults. The potential for enthusiastic commitment born of experience and mutual respect at the expense of short-term disagreements is traded for the compulsive participation of the person with the expectation of respect arising from the long-term suppression of the person's individuality.
Throughout human history, physical personal power has been the narcotic that promises acceptance, security, influence, possession, respect, and selfish childish satisfaction. In a materialistically organized society, there is the myth that money can buy anything, and, the myth that you are a good person according to how much you earn and how much you are worth. In this common form of society, it is a reality that Who you know can decide what opportunities are presented to you, and, which others will encourage and allow you to succeed at --- usually in concert with some benefit for them.
Communication and personal interactions are often framed about the unconscious and the obvious expectations and fears of what the other person will do, or not do, if you take a particular side or perform a particular action. Deception, manipulation, lies, threats, and half-truths become a way of life: a strategy of anxiety and intrigue on a tightrope of social identity with an illusive goal of power enough.
Politics is an extension of social activities.
It involves greater numbers of persons unified together with common beliefs and myths for long and consistent periods of time. There are myths of how the citizen Should think of their country and of other lesser countries. How they should answer to a number of questions that force an adversarial choice between unquestioned allegiance and much derided opposition.
The reality is that the masses follow the lauded principles which order and restrict their participation in the economy, the caring for others, the forms of education provided, and the manner of international interaction, yet, those who gain the most use their contacts to choose to act both against the common values and to manipulate them to deceive the masses. Many people lose. Only the few winners are lauded, as if they represent a potential for the majority. The backroom winners maintain and grow their power in silence, or, by pointing to others.
Spiritually-Guided decision-making for composite membership opportunities faces overwhelming opposition from the individual commitment of the many to the above materialistic perspective of integrity, truth, power, correctness. Founders of spiritual wisdom and principles have long maintained that a person cannot serve two master who are in conflict with one another. A long-term view of human history does not indicate a species which is growing in its ability to be reverent of life, self-responsible, practical relative to reality, acknowledging of self and others and of the rewards and penalties for self-concern.
The twentieth century yielded a century of almost continuous war, starvation, wastefulness, selfishness, abuse, terror, pride, and fantasy. Almost as many resources were spent on political myth and mass media fantasy as on self-sustaining oneself. A higher proportion of the population became co-dependent and obsessive and chronically ill than ever before recorded. It was not because a Spiritually Guided direction could not be found or followed.
IF we create societies and political entities which totally deny and exclude Spiritually Guided decision-making, we should take responsibility for their errors ourselves. Spiritual Guidance has always been available to assist us in promoting health, peace, conservation, contentment ... for all. We are quick to blame, or credit God with the results of OUR selfish choices. We SAY we love our children and grieve and wail when they die of cancer in their youth. We pollute our bodies that carry them to gestation. We harbor energy blocks and pass them on to them in the womb by our unconscious patterns.
We imprint our children with anti-spiritual reverence for individual humans and human authority. We pollute the environment they must live in. We create adversaries and aggravate them knowing that it will be our children we will send into battle. Then, when our children suffer, or die ... we proudly proclaim that such was the will of God. Why would it not be difficult to make Spiritually Guided decisions in composite situations when so much hypocrisy, denial, self-delusion, self-obsession, and irreverence exists?
Can a Spiritually Guided society and political organization exist?
Or, more specifically, can a human one exist, here, on the Earth?
I do not have the answer. You and many others will decide that by Your choices. The more that I perfected my skill of accessing Spiritual Guidance and delighting in, and understanding, and using, the results ... the more reverent and humble I became and the clearer the Access, regardless of severe distraction. With such a Gift, I have always wanted others to share in the Joy. I believe that is why I was Guided to construct earthtym.net and Guided in the writing of much of its content.
I did not learn from study.
I learned from doing. I learned from Listening. I learned from choosing to follow the Spiritual Guidance always available to me. Not an easy thing without any human support. If possible for me, I expected and hoped that such Clarity and Access would be even easier for others who would have the benefit of my challenges and my personal support. So far, this has been poorly realized. Few try. Less succeed.
Imprinting and old destructive yet familiar and easy patterns often distract one. Experience and training can be denied or avoided as they will highlight ones illusions, demonstrate ones weaknesses, reveal ones errors. A person too proud to learn from their mistakes is a person doomed, by their own choice, to repeat the errors of the past, and remain on the ferry in mid-stream ... with the anchor lodged in the bottom mud and the engine continuing to churn.
Can reality be revealed through
the illusion of mass media?
Consider two popular movies: 12 Monkeys, and, A Beautiful Mind.
A Beautiful Mind is a portrayal of John Nash, a schizophrenic man.
Like many schizophrenics, John is rationally intelligent, somewhat disconnected from emotions, almost anti-social in his interactions with others. He desperately wants to feel accepted and acknowledged by the power of society and others. But he has no courage or will to risk involvement out of inner terror of the abandonment he expects. He interprets this reality as a necessity to achieve something noteworthy to the value structure of society. Without that achievement and recognition, he experiences himself as a nothing.
Devoid of sincere friends, his feign over him as they would a child, and, devoid of an employer who would acknowledge him as valued and highly needed for his narrow intellectual compulsiveness, he invents them. They speak to him, comfort him, ask for his help, treat him as a parent and savior. They mirror his fears and accentuate them to paranoia. They magnify his self-obsession to totally occupy himself with self-achievement to the denial and avoidance of others.
John's inward devotion, time and energy pursuing a mathematical singular reality predictably leads to his gaining a new awareness that can be translated into practical value. He becomes socially accepted and acknowledged. Yet his social and intimate acceptance is almost not enough to counter the internally constructed fantasy that has previously obsessed him.
His hallucinations endanger him until he consciously accepts them, for what they really are, and chooses to replace the joy of the illusions with the joy of reality. The portrayal of his life is one of varying degrees of severity of internal distraction from reality. He never fully recovers.
The achievements of the schizophrenic are not those influenced by Spiritual Guidance. Long before I knew of or received any Spiritual Guidance, I achieved many many successes in technical servicing, medical science, and construction design. Our rational mind cannot be wrong all the time! It is just a question of how often it is wrong and how much of our energies and resources are wasted because of those errors.
With Guidance, I could have achieved everything I had done with a minimum of frustration and anxiety, with much less waste of resources, with considerably more time to spend with those who loved me, in 10% of the time. So also, if the character, John Nash, had received Spiritual Guidance, and, if it was his Mission to discover a new perspective in mathematics, he would have found it in minutes, not years.
Many schizophrenics are not so fortunate.
The few I have worked with have had many extreme energy blocks.
What if you, as a child, were told by your mother, repeatedly, that she was going to leave you. She packed her suitcase and left. She said on other occasions that she was going to jump in the canal and kill herself, and left. The fact that she returns later does not lessen the impact that you, as a child, experiences as abandonment. As a child who loves her mother, you feel a failure for not being able to rescue your mother ... make everything better for her.
The actions of your parent force you, as a child, to assume the role of parent. You lose your childhood to your child-like parents. A part of your identity wants desperately to be like the other children you see. So, perhaps you hallucinate yourself as a child later when you feel the need for feeling strong. Your little friend needs your comforting and encouragement. You can give it what you would have liked as a child but was withheld from you by self-obsessed parents. You have the security of knowing that you can control This reality. You Will make everything right. You will rescue. This affirms your sense of worth and allows for an expression of love in situations where you may find you have excluded all other possibilities of a close loving response from another real person.
Self-indulgent mentors can also severely disorient a highly rational yet naive and insecure person. Such a person was presented to me while taking multiple mood influencing drugs and diagnosed as paranoid-schizophrenic manic-depressive delusional! After 2 sessions in which he released 12 severe blocks just by taking the remedies, he released some of his delusions, became greatly less manic-depressive, and, for the first time in many years assertively demanded that his psychiatrist change his medications as they had very distressing influences on him, from his perspective.
Within a few days after the second balancing session, he took a 5-day coping skills workshop at a local hospital so that he could better look after himself and more safely use the drugs given him. These were options that had been available to him for many years, but never considered and acted on by him before. Perhaps he avoided the social atmosphere before because it spelled likely rejection with his energy block sensitivity. They were not new to him as options. Now, he demanded these options. Now he could SEE them and ACT on them.
One of the traumatic experiences that he freely expressed to me after the first session was this. In his teens he had been partying with his friends. His father was an alcoholic and his teen friends drank quite a bit. He became drunk. His friends gave him a sexual excitant named Spanish Fly. He was told as he was coming to from the hangover that he had engaged in anal sex with one of the other boys, both willingly. He was traumatized by the fact of what he had done. It challenged, for him, his identity as a male ... whom he had been severely taught would only be attracted sexually to females. So severe was this shame and guilt that he had consciously forgotten the incident. His energy block did not.
Within the following decade, my client had married, fathered two children, and done very well in his chosen career. Eventually, and predictably, difficulties arose between he, his wife, and his children. He lost them. He began abusing alcohol and lost his job. When I first met him, he had sold all his belongings to get money for fast food, drink, cigarettes, his car. His father had bought a used car for him. It needed gas, and repairs.
How did the state help him?
His psychiatrist had bought him a cellphone. Every time, often one or more times per day, that he called the psychiatrist, the psychiatrist earned an average of $110, for 20 minutes. His smoking had become intense and no residence would allow persons smoking openly in their rooms. So, in mid-winter, he spent a lot of time warming up his car, listening to the radio in it while smoking, drinking pop, and eating chocolate bars. All this while getting the best that Social Services and the Ontario Health Insurance Program (O.H.I.P.) could offer him for years. With such planning and support, residency, transportation, drug supervision, nutrition, and skill development ... how could he ever improve?
After two remedies-only Balancing Sessions, he was trying to quit smoking, reduce his alcohol, was staying inside the house more, was eating better food, and using his cellphone less. He had got a part-time job. All of this was his own initiative without a word from me or others. Persuaded by the social worker and psychiatrist earlier to confide everything in them or risk being cut off his social assistance payments and his prescription drugs, he told them briefly about the Balancing Sessions involving Bach Flower Remedies and how he believed he was finally going to get fully better.
Acknowledgement and support, or, denial and threats of rejection?
His parents told him he was crazy to think he could get better. If his association with me suggested such, he should avoid me. His psychiatrist took the same position, having so mentored the parents for 7 years. He stood to lose a dependable and regular source of income. The social worker apparently was little different. She believed her industry myth that doctors are gods and popular science is infallible. She had not seen him change in 6 years, this dramatic positive change in a month, she was not going to acknowledge. It would pass and he would revert to his former dependable depressive self.
This schizophrenic was presented with a choice by the professions sanctioned by the society which were to aid and protect him, and received lucrative budgets to do so, the outcome of which is predictable in most cases. He could continue the Balancing Sessions and continue to recover, or, he could continue to be a ward of society. If he continued with me, he would need several thousands of dollars for all the sessions, from some source. If he continued with the sanctioned institutions, he would not likely improve beyond the point I assisted him to, and would cost the taxpayer hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in support services for the rest of his life.
Political and social sanctions meant influential acceptance and acknowledgement ... as a permanently sick person. Less would be expected of him. People would either always feel sorry for him, or, shrink away from his insanity. It would cost him no money and others would pay him enough to live on the edge of homelessness. They had the choice to support his recovery or his enslavement. They chose the latter making the choice, for him, even traumatic. How do we make it possible for God to help when we deny the results.
To the outsider, unaware of the realities of the situation and uncomprehending of the illusions of the schizophrenic, the latter seems to be hypocritical and delusional in their communication. Depending upon who is present they express allegiances according to their expectation of the values of those present.
Expectation, not reality.
Their low self-esteem and fear of rejection prevent them confirming reality with the normal tests of requesting and getting feedback. One moment, you may be treated as their best friend, because you are nearby and may affirm them or take responsibility for them. The next, you may be spoken of behind your back in negative tones to someone else in the hope that the someone else will take pity on them, acknowledge them, and try to take responsibility for them.
Ideally, the schizophrenic makes decisions according to how others tell them to, with the expectation that doing so will buy them acceptance rather than abandonment. The reality is that it buys them multiple co-dependencies that conflict and result in others treating them as children ... a self-sabotaging that means never being treated as an adult and as the individual you could be.
A great focus has been placed on Intuition by some semi-religious organizations and intellectual individuals who have become disenchanted with the rational creed expressed in popular science. They mistakenly assume that their intuition is Spiritual Guidance. The information that comes to them and the flash of awareness that they experience all possess personal experience. Whatever conclusions they divine, it is obvious to an aware person that it has come from an accumulation of what they have read, overheard, and synthesized, unconsciously into a potential. The signal may be strong yet it does err both in degree of relevancy and in accuracy.
With Spiritual Guidance, I know before I enter a grocery store how many things I am supposed to buy. Even when I have never been in the store before, I know in which aisle and on which shelf and in which section I will find the anonymous item. Sometimes it is something I would expect to benefit from. Other times, I am unaware of the requirement for the item until I see it and then can ask if it is for what seems to be indicated. Still other times, I am Guided to purchase something for which I have no awareness of a need and no rational suggestion of what to use it for. Always, within hours, a day, or, rarely, a week ... a very beneficial use for the item presents itself. I usually do not have a lot of money. I cannot afford waste, including luxury. So, I am full of Joy when Guidance indicates that I buy something which, for me, is a luxury, a reward.
Spiritual Guidance is neither a rational nor intuitive process.
The information and suggestions received come from beyond my knowledge and awareness and convey realities that are often novel for me. I don't get what I want, necessarily. Sometimes the foods I am Guided to are not those I personally like or want. What I have learned is that they are foods that my life system needs for effective assimilation of nutrients best for me.
Often, foods are excluded that I like and would have frequently bought before Spiritual Guidance. Their exclusion has maintained and improved my health including the times when my resources were scant and my negative stress load extreme. Many times, the total of the bill has matched within pennies to the money in my pocket. Most of the time, the articles have been discounted, advertised or not. I get what is best for me, given my resources, and my life system requirements for the period concerned. This is not intuition.
Intuitives, by my exposure, seem to only receive insights according to information that they are already aware of. They receive flashes of motivation to buy what they would like. They seldom have any conflict understanding or accepting their intuition for this reason. Spiritual Guidance is not always that easy to accept. I was traveling and had been Guided to stay at a caravan-trailer park overnight.
There turned out to be many positive reasons for the choice of this never-before-seen location. It was inexpensive, the management was good, it was close to a house I found several days later to rent, it had mature trees and was close to a small river, a good restaurant was within walking distance, it had good facilities. The only accommodation available for me there that night was an older trailer that smelled musty. I slept well but I REALLY did not want to return.
Spiritual Guidance the next afternoon indicated to return to the caravan park for another night. I was frustrated and angry. I did not want to be in that musty trailer again. Yet, I knew that Spiritual Guidance was always the best option. So, I returned. This second evening, I had my choice of 4 locations. The one I was Guided to was cleaner and had no musty odour. There is no way I could have known that this trailer would be any different than the others. All were of similar age, perhaps 20 or 30 years old.
I could have asked before leaving about the vacancies, but I had not. I had hoped to be elsewhere. Intuition would have often indicated a negative to returning and rationalizing would have confirmed same, unless the rational decision-maker had doubted the possibility of finding somewhere else and had spent the time asking about prospective vacancies when such vacancies were not confirmed, after which they could be let, and without access to inspect them.
Many self-described medical intuitives prescribe for their clients according to the complaints described by the client and the supplements and modalities they are personally aware of. When I have requested Spiritual Guidance for confirmation, the results are often dramatically different, and, dramatically more personal to the client.
My use of "many" and "some" is intentional.
It does not mean "all". I know of only one medical intuitive whom I expect augments her intuition with Spiritual Guidance with the result evident in the outcome. Her clients always improve or get better with a minimum of expense.
The evident difference between herself and many others is that she is calm and reverent in her composure. She listens well, uses muscle testing, and is tactful and compassionate. She is more interested in helping others than in being rich or famous. Like myself, her clients all come by referral. Marketing costs too much and becoming a martyr against the prevailing medical autocracy restricts one's ability to help others.
Using intuition and Spiritual Guidance together is risky.
Unless you become singularly proficient in accessing Spiritual Guidance, how would you be able to guard against interference from your intuition, Ego, SuperEgo, Unconscious energy blocks, social inferences and threats? And, you can only do so by developing that skill with a motivation strong enough and self-disciplining enough to root out, by testing and counter-testing, or by feedback from another person who is more adept, the errors.
A failure to aggressively learn from one's errors leaves one to the delusion of being better than one is. Rational mythologizing and intuitive expectation and assumption can keep one in enthusiastic self-delusion. The person who plays with half-truths is often a person who has forgotten where the truth is. Half-truths are very persuasive for unlike lies they are difficult for most people to readily detect.
12 Monkeys is a movie that was actually produced more than 7 years BEFORE
A Beautiful Mind.
The main character, Cole, agrees to travel into the past in order to try and obtain an original form of a virus that had been released and resulted in the deaths of most of the human population. Only mutations exist in the future he comes from and a suitable cure requires a sample of the originating form. Science being imperfect, he finds himself transported in error to irrelevant periods. He knows the future from which he has come, and, he knows the past which the persons in his transported to locations have yet to experience as their future.
Valid prophets may know of the future by way of Spiritual Guidance.
That future is accurate within the restraint that it will happen IF all of the parties concerned which can influence the result continue to make their decision as they have in the past. They continue to be controlled by their energy blocks, their imprinting, their degree of awareness, their degree of deference to human authority, and, their degree of clear access to Spiritual Guidance and degree of commitment to follow it. The latter is largely ruled out. Most humans have never received Spiritual Guidance. Some receive it with such distraction as to be unable to tell when it is valid or not.
The few who do receive Spiritual Guidance accurately are largely discredited, like Cole, as being schizophrenic or otherwise delusional. Cole has high integrity, a narrow focus, a concern for others, and, a high respect for truth and life. Cole does know the future, like the Guided person, yet no one listens in spite of the indications of his correctness.
Cole never loses his focus despite the misinterpretations and misjudgements he gets from the society and individuals he is trying to help. He perseveres in spite of the torturous experiences which those who could assist him instead bear upon him. His mission done, he seeks, like any healthy person, an option of happiness and contentment, for himself, from his perspective.
The society sabotages itself and guarantees its failure through its pride and irreverence and its intellectual confusion. Cole, like the Spiritually Guided person looks for no popularity, no accolades, no power. He is self-directed and self-motivated and self-acknowledges and utilizes the special skills he has. His only potential form of recognition is release from the containment and lack of freedom in the future that he experiences because of the errors of others in the past.
Social recognition has almost never been synonymous with clear access to Spiritual Guidance. Particularly not in one's own lifetime. The Spiritually Guided person freely and openly acknowledges their intellectual smallness in the universe and is reverent of the Source they receive direction from. You cannot worship such a person, only respect them. Such persons often abhor power for such enslaves the less powerful by their own greed for the physical security it suggests, and often those who hold it, by the godliness of pride that reveres security.
What do we have?
No human figurehead. No human hero or martyr. No power mad person using their charisma to encourage intolerance, hatred, abuse, murder ... under the politically acceptable lingo of nationalism, racial or political superiority, economic expansion, and righteous wars. What does such a person have for a population who daily sells its soul for a few dollars? If the Spiritually Guided person had money, he or she would most likely be Guided to spend it for the potential benefit of many others. If they are fortunate, that goal will be realized. It can only be realized on such a scale if others are strong enough to voluntarily and with awareness, join them.
The future is determined by what we do today.
Human recorded history being what it is, there is a clear indication that once again, a civilization will die by its own selfish errors. Only this time, the level of power and the participation has raised the odds and possibilities. Only by the Grace of Spiritually Guided decisions can the human species survive its only deadly choices. How many will survive will depend upon how many have the self-esteem and will to discipline their Ego and SuperEgo, and, the courage to calmly stand against the majority.
Can you tell the self-deceived from the self-directed?
Have you demonstrated to others the accuracy of your access to Spiritual Guidance?
If not you, why should anyone else?
