Principle of Influence and nature of ERROR?

How one interacts with the Principle of the Bach Flower remedy indicated for release of the current energy block being considered may be understood as follows:

PASS
Our personal Higher Self knows from our conception what our life mission (purpose). When listened to by the ego (I want), superego (conscience -- I should), and the unconscious (the only options are what I know), the Higher Self (this is the best and most constructive option) can only effect success. In a PASS test result, the underlying meaning is often one of these 3 realities:

    1. The brain is too preoccupied at the moment with the influences of many other energy blocks as well as the one currently being targeted. It cannot constructively cope with a consideration of the meaning of the block, its error, or its prevention. In line with a common saying, "When you're up to your ass in alligators, it's time to get out of the swamp!" Once the brain is less compromised, it will be more able to take an active role and attain greater benefits. For now, the Higher Self is most concerned that the ego not be unduly frustrated and the will weakened such that any further sessions and release of blocks is endangered.

    2. The brain has just (earlier in the current session) interacted with the description of the Principle and is still in clear awareness of it. Further repetition at this time will not be effective or constructive.

    3. Selections from other Resources may prove to be more effective at this time because of their greater ability to convey the required meaning or experience to the participant.




READ
THE UNCONSCIOUS mind is more active than the conscious when we read. The unconscious acts as a bridge between the Reptilian habit-dominated structures of the brain and the paleomamalian (limbic system). Dr. Paul D. MacLean describes in layman terms the structures of the human brain in

A Triune Concept of the Brain and Behavior,

THE UNCONSCIOUS simply acts like an endless medium tape recorder, especially when we are not "listening" or paying attention to ourselves reading, or when others are speaking to us, or, when advertisements are broadcast to us through the mass media. Without the conscious mind evaluating and judging the input, ALL the input is assimilated as accurate and relevant.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF READING is that unless we have some fundamental disagreement with the message, giving the information to the unconscious is a time and energy saving approach. More actively involving a somewhat distracted conscious mind will likely only result in confusion and a great amount of energy to try and concentrate on what is being read or spoken.


SAY
TO READ ALOUD, we are forced to slow our mind down.
This helps us focus on the message. It also paces the information flow. It becomes more difficult for us to "get ahead of ourselves" and we must involve more brain functions and neural centers in the processing of the information. Both the reading AND speaking neural functions are activated and together they leave a message which is easier to access by a process of association --- a kind of electro-biochemical cross-referencing information retrieval system. Thus, when SAY is indicated, we can be pleased that the brain of the participant is strong enough to utilize a more effective and efficiently received message.


HEAR
Hearing, in the context of the Higher Self System of Self-Balancing, is an indication that the conscious mind of the participant is too distracted by the influence of the currently targeted energy block and other resident energy blocks. Effective personal involvement by way of either reading or saying is of little benefit here. While it is likely that the conscious awareness of the participant will "wander" while the description of the Principle is being read to them, their UNCONSCIOUS will still record the content.

In other words, there is a light on in the house, but everyone is asleep. Leaving the information in the house or on the doorstep will allow the sleeper to utilize it whenever he or she is awake and less occupied with more urgent matters. Rather than having to make use of the information immediately, the individual may make use of it during any selection of one or many "breaks" in activity in the future. This is a much more constructive approach to information delivery than to wake up the sleeper (with aggressive and abusive communication) and arouse defensiveness, anger, and possibly introduce a new energy block.

AFFIRMATIONS as CATALYSTS in HEALING ?

If affirmations are required, they will invariably be spoken. Unlike readings of the description of the Principle of a Remedy or of passages from an "other references," affirmations are relatively short ---- usually one short sentence or phrase. They are concise and require only a short attention span and involvement on the part of the participant. If the Higher Self has indicated an acceptance of any source of affirmations or of any affirmation, then the affirmation will be effective in assisting in the release of the targeted energy block and in the formation of new and more constructive thought and behavior patterns. Three sources of affirmations are noted here, there are numerous others.

A presenting block or set of blocks represents the apparent personality of the person in the present. It is robot-like behavior and attitudes which are being used to react to reality. The degree of change which the Basic Personality can cope with helps determine this time frame required to release the block.

AFFIRMATIONS influence the process by interacting with the Life System of the individual according to her/his Basic Personality. Block release involves a variety of Identity structures - features. Each step noted here is potentially crucial for success in each block release exercise. Affirmations, like any one step, itself, may have little benefit or influence on the outcome. Unlike other steps, Affirmations, where indicated, have the catalytic influence of enhancing and unifying the influence of all the other steps described.

Other REFERENCES

for awareness building.

THE LEVEL OF MATURITY and CONTENT within a reference will have to match that of the participant for whom a reading is being selected through the testing. One should not be surprised that books with unlikely titles and covering subjects or topics not directly of interest to the person being tested for blocks can still yield relevant passages. These provide phrases, paragraphs, chapters, questions, examples, or cautions which have value independent from the larger content of the reference. Don't judge a book by its cover (title)!

IT IS THE SELECTED CONTENT that is important.
As long as the book is clean, markings within the book and the condition of the cover should not influence its effectiveness.

No listing of potential references would be adequate or complete. Each of you will be in a different economical situation from each other and so will have different resources available for the acquisition of supplementary references. Books can be obtained inexpensively from a wide variety of sources and still be found to be equally beneficial. Consider these:

   (__) second-hand sales and stores,
   (__) bookstore going-out-of-business sales,
   (__) bookstore and publishers clearances and remainders,
   (__) donations from friends, relatives, associates, others,
   (__) garbage containers, and municipal dumps.


GENERAL CLASSIFICATIONS of references which are typically popular with Higher Self selection for self-instruction include these:

   (__) health and wellness, biology, herbalism, medicine,
   (__) biographies and biographical dictionaries,
   (__) investigative journalism and histories of innovations,
   (__) spiritual, religious and self-development writings,
   (__) legends, myths, sociology, anthropology and psychology,
   (__) any subject or hobby which your participant is intensely 
                                                    interested in.


DURING THE FINAL STAGES of the process of clearing one's blocks, an individual may now take an active and assertive role in their healing. That is, the consciousness is no longer having to try and see reality through a thick fog of energy blocks nor have to run a race against other competitors in life in which one's own path is frustrated by a multiplicity of hurdles such that one hurdle equals one energy block.

Imagine trying to run a 100-yard race in which each of the competitors has a different number of hurdles set in their track lane. Some will have few or no hurdles. Others will have more. You may have 100 or more. How will you fare in the outcome?

As the fog clears and the number of blocks / hurdles are removed from your path, it becomes easier for you to see the finish line. It is now easier for you to contemplate actually finishing the race ... and winning!

It will now be constructive for some participants to think ahead and plan what they will do at the end of the race.

For some participants, those steps will evolve freely and easily. Of every 100 persons currently undertaking to clear away their energy blocks, I have found that

40% will experience spontaneous positive changes in their health, lifestyle, awareness, and/or relationships;

3% will find themselves in positions where a change for the positive is forced on them ... often by circumstances which they have created earlier in their life while disadvantaged by numerous energy blocks;

4% will have to finish the final stages with a clear and conscious awareness of the direction they will now choose to head in.
