1. Extending LIFE through moderation.
You KNOW this!
You may not like this Reality.
No lies will stand here.
It is time to face up to YOUR Life.
Whenever we are involved in extremes, we over-activate and over-oxidize our physical identities, our bodies. Rust, fires, burns, and explosions are all examples of what can happen when substances are over-oxidized. Excess is not the only breach of moderation. Too little of some things can also result in reverse biologic demands ... when we diminish our activity so much that we again introduce hyper-oxidation processes through chemical extremes such as over-acidity and over-alkalinity.
You will be FORCED into activities which would be dramatic indications of Non-Moderation (extended sleep, minimal exercise, paranoic anxiety ... ), if you have CFS-ME. These activities MAY be a cumulative extension of one or more Health Sabotaging Influences, or, they may be a significant result of the degradation afforded by one or several acute illness conditions, or, both. You may have a conscious ability to Control this, or not, You CAN Recover, IF you determine WHAT and WHICH the influences are, and, address at least some of them.
Reasons, Justifications, Excuses.
We all use them to defend ourselves against the judgment that we are ignorant, proud, weak, or, selfish. So why do we sometimes ACT as if we don't care about our future? There are no simple singular Realities to this question. An influence in one situation may not apply in another. Some influences may present quite often; others, may strike unexpectedly. We may be quite aware of what a non-moderation stimulant is that is personal to us; perhaps relevant for many people. Do we KNOW what ours are? Do we KNOW why They have the POWER over us? Do we WANT then to have that Power?
Smouldering fires:
Some influences are like a smoldering fire in the background which bursts into fire every know and again when it is triggered by a sudden blast of air and oxygen. We React and Act Out to put out the fire, only to leave it smouldering. We THINK we put it out, yet, it is only smouldering. We will turn our backs on it, and, walk away. And it will flare again when we are busy Doing, and it will Grab our attention and participation again. Will we ever learn to Cope? Not if we don't understand what it is that we keep missing. Here are some dominant examples:
The Spiritual Principles referenced here can remedy and lessen either imprinted or energy blocked attitudes and behaviors. These destructive patterns tend to remove the awareness and choice from us which would easily enable sharing, compassion, forgiveness, respect, harmony, and, acceptance. In a world in which some, or all of these, feels absent, we are constantly building fuel to justify pain and suffering against others, and, ourselves: hatred, rage, vengeance, blaming, exclusion, pride, manipulation, greed, guilt. It is the destructive presence of a Spiritual Principle which smoulders so quietly and calmly that we may smother ourselves at the expense of others.
You can Choose to smother the fire and establish Balance.
Fear of Abandonment:
Some of these influences are like taking precautions to avoid the repeat of an incident of loss. Perhaps you were late for work and were approaching the stop or platform as the bus or train pulled away. Perhaps it is like the food you went to the market to buy, with pleasured expectation, only to arrive to find, that the grocer has just sold out of it. You may even develop a fear of wanting something, so that it cannot be taken away from you if you do acquire it. It could be that you got a much sought after promotion to be followed within days by a layoff with many other workers. It could be that you find it difficult not to doubt the presence of something you have, because you frequently hear from others about how they "lost" it. Perhaps, a loving spouse, a good job, a desired body style, a favored investment.
Fearing to have or receive something places us in a position in which we have an attitude which will sabotage our actions through irrelevant doubt and acknowledgment. It will often force us into a situation in which we almost encourage others to AVOID us, doubt us, and feel rejected by us. We give them the motivation and opportunity to leave us, fire us, ignore us, laugh at or drama, or begin gossipping to us. Is that what we want? Will all this chronic anxiety and fear do anything less than encourage our body to respond with restriction, tightness, over-compensation? Our emotions keep signaling to it that we NEED (or is it, Want) to be prepared for .. disaster. It accentuates oxidative processes to provide the Calm (energy spent to restrain ourselves) we need to appear sane while FEELING confused, with certainty!
You can accept the Love of a God who gave YOU Life.
If you do, you will never be Alone.
Imprinted Norms:
Some influences are like the moon or the stars appearing in the night sky.
You come to expect that they will likely be present, either visually, or behind a blanket of clouds, fog, or physical obstructions including buildings, nearby mountains, or ambient lighting. It seems that they have always been there. Other people whom you know support their presence. Were you to tell them otherwise, they would doubt your sanity. Those other people in your norms microworld may only extend to your culture, your family, your friends, or, yourself. Imprinting happens when you repeatedly experience an association of acceptability and reality with consistency and persistence, often many times in reality, and, thousands of times through reflection.
Destructive emotional expressions, also understood here as negative stress influences, have the capacity to modify our pH biochemical balance. This biological response is constructive when there is danger looming and fear impulses us into action, anxiety stimulates reflection and innovation, distrust demands re-evaluation, and, abandonment humbles us to be sensitive to the desires and thinking of others.
In destructive imprinting, these potentially constructive SHORT-TERM variations and responses are twisted by an awareness that associates a projective or proud judgment into a self-sabotaging reality. We are responding, without relevancy. With no resoltion to our responses, we are encouraged to repeat such responses, as if, they will eventually be successful. We may choose to ignore such automatic feelings. It may take an extended period of time and re-patterning engagement before we modify such patterns into more relevant and constructive and Joy-enhancing one.
Imposed Energy Blocks:
Some influences are like explosions, car accidents, random assaults.
You don't know they are coming. You may be unprepared. They may roll over you like a wave or a rock. If no one comes to assist and guide you to safety, you are alone, helpless, developing reactions and fears. You choose something spontaneous. Best or worst, it will stay with you. If you survive, you have adopted a ritual solution which can continually, or, selectively, draw on your defenses. Defenses demand action. Fear often graduates into anxiety. If action is retarded and denied, the oxidation of energy for action becomes toxic.
Too much fuel ignited can result in explosion.
Explosions can be deadly. We do our best to avoid and diminish them
Avoidance often includes projection. A "What if?" can become a "When?"
Expectation can rob us of Response, Compassion, Empathy, Love.
We may end up Inviting what is toxic.
Lava flows are not Cool.
ALL of the above are examples of experiences, beliefs, patterns, and other dynamics which provide the biochemical foundations for an increased requirement for anti-oxidatants. If you have no need of them, you are likely living alone with no contact with other humans or political structures. Such is neither possible no advantageous for most of us. Better that we add in and ensure that there are adequate biochemical "coolants" in our diet to safeguard our health from a meltdown.

8. Considerations for CFS-ME
-
Meats are best to be restricted.
Unless they are grass fed, organically grown, and expensive .. it is likely that their potential nutritional value has been diminished by corn or grain feeding, addition of hormones and antibiotics, addition of storage toxins, prevalence of feedlot parasites. Cooking meats until they are well done, to minimize parasite transfer, essentially destroys many of the nutrients, makes the meat more difficult to digest, and increases the presence of carcinogens ... ALL of which further rob the CFS-ME person of energy.
-
Dairy products are best avoided by those who are, or have become, lactose intolerant.
-
Fats can be beneficial if they are cold processed, largely unrefined, with no added preservatives, and not heated on too high a heat or for too long before use.
-
Fruits are best avoided if one has ANY form of fungal overgrowth.
-
Peanuts are best avoided for multiple reasons.
Their digestion will adversely influence the adrenals, which are already weakened. Unless their source, storage and preparation can be guaranteed to be free of fungal contamination, such an aflotoxin can result in severe stress or injury to organs such as the liver, kidneys, and brain.
-
Selenium.
Antioxidants are such a good defence against sunburn that some of them, like selenium, may even lessen your tan. Some people report that they do not tan at all, or very little, with regular use of selenium. At least 200 mcg of selenium at least four to six weeks before sun exposure and during sun exposure as well is a good preventive measure.
Selenium can be found in Brazil nuts, brown rice, garlic, oats, whole wheat bread and orange juice.
-
Starches are best to be limited as their energy requirement for digestion is high and their benefit for a person unable to fully exercise daily is minimal, likely to promote weight gain, likely to encourage insulin resistance,
