3. Breathing can massage.

Civilized breathing induces abdominal tension.
Healthy breathing finds us filling our lower lungs first, then the middle, and lastly the upper part. This pushes our abdomen ou first. We learn as children not to do this. If fortunate, we relearn the benefits of correct breathing through practices such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong.

Anxiety, Fear, Anger, and Depression all produce a breathing reflex based on Flight or Fight. Enlarging the chest makes one appear stronger, more aggressive, and more confident to others who may be seen as threats to us. It also tends to increase our forward and upper center of gravity preparing us for a sprint. Do people raised in civilizations, which are often authoritarian, induce a constant sense of these emotions within the populace? Are we more obedient to authority and more passive and less confrontational by the way we breathe? And what happens, if, the way we breathe induces these feelings back upon us?






4. Laughter in health.
Movement of the abdomen through exercise or breathing, provides encouragement for peristalsis. When we laugh we perform an enhanced form of breathing. We take a simple survival function and transform it into a playful orgasm. It is an orgastic action because it begins by building tension. We either begin the reflex by taking air in and momentarily holding it, or, we anxiously listen and wait for the "laugh" line or conclusion, and then, release our breath/anxiety/tension is a fast series of breaths, facial movements, and abdomenal spasms. Humor can assist our digestion and mood, if not overdone.

    • T-lymphocytes are released.
    • Endorphins are released (like narcotics)

Humor is what makes YOU laugh.
Laughter is the music for your Heart to dance to.
The FORM of humor you respond to tells a lot about WHO you are.
Humor is a physiological response which Releases energy.
It is a response which fits in that category of actions called "orgasms."
That means, there is a build up of tension in the body followed by a sudden release. Orgasmic responses include sneezing, coughing, laughing, and sexual climax.

The Form and quantity of HUMOR, IS a BIG Influence, for a person with CFS-ME. It can assist in recovery, increase illness intensity, or challenge one's libido (will to live) by encouraging Denial. If you cannot discern the different major Forms, you will invite Overwhelm. That can have you Avoid ALL forms of humor, including those which can assist you.

If you understand the significance of setting limits and the constructiveness of being aware of Quantity vs personal Capacity, what could be a Negative can become a Positive. Too much of even a good thing at any time can create havoc. Too much is a personal capacity which can vary by the hour, time of day, day, and social and physical environment.

Humor can change our perception and expectation from one of likely catastrophe, failure, and penalty, to one of Alternative, Hope, Recovery. It can take what looks like and feels like a horrifying mistake or an anger producing slander into a moment of sympathy, and reflection. In like fashion, it can take a panic driven protective flight-or-fight readiness and change the physical response into one of release, relaxation, confidence, and the weakness of openness and exposure.

HOPE is built on Faith and Optimism.
Humor can translate apparent or assumed negatives into possible positives. For the person with CFS-ME, the challenge, is to NOT try and build the positives until they become negatives. The expression of humor requires brain energy to think up, store, and present. Humor requires potentially, large amounts of immediate energy to participate, both in building the anxiety, and in releasing it. A LITTLE humor can bring a smile. Laughter, will bring weakness. Thinking up a joke, can make a person with CFS-ME too weak to present it. It is a fine balance with different thresholds for different people and different for the same person, at different times.

People with CFS-ME do not have extra energy, time, self-esteem, or anger to release that will assist their symptoms nor recovery. Misinterpreted communications are one of the greatest energy costs which diminish the efforts of a person with CFS-ME to recover. Attracting denial is a certain way of remaining ill. Caution must be attempted in the balancing of an expression of humor. That threshold is a tightrope between depression, and, over-optimism. Humor can be an expression of Hope when linked with understanding and reality.

Parasite exposure and acquisition are a normal part of life.
If we optimize our health, exposure to parasites can be a danger.
As a danger, we know to have concern, not fear, and be prudent.
If we are ignorant of the reality, or, choose to be in denial of it,
we Force the reality to become a hazard for us & our health.
Enzymes are our best and simplest form of defence.

Normally present bacteria in the intestine, such as clostridium enteritis, can mutate and multiply so rapidly that the person dies. This happens when the normal presence or body production of pancreatic enzymes is reduced. This reduction can result from hereditary conditions, gene mutation, food deficiencies, and conditons which abnormally increase the pH acidity of bodily fluids, and/or decrease the concentration of stomach acid. An overproduction of this and other mutated intestinal flora can result in rapid bloating (gas) as well as poisoning from the toxic excretion of the bacteria, or, from invasive fungi, such as Candida albicans.

      The pancreas is a main digestive gland in our body.
      It secretes these enzymes:

    • Pancreatic amylase
      degrades most carbohydrates including starch, glycogen and cellulose.

    • Bile from the liver
      emulsifies fat, allowing more efficient use of lipase in the duodenum

    • Carboxypeptidase, is a protease.
      It removes the terminal acid group from a protein.

    • Chymotrypsin, is a protease
      cuts proteins at the aromatic amino acids.
    • Elastases
      degrade the protein elastin and some other proteins.

    • Nucleases
      degrade nucleic acids, like DNAase and RNAase

    • Steapsin
      degrades triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol.

    • Trypsin
      a protease that cuts proteins at the basic amino acids.

      Enzyme enhancement factors.

The TOXINS excreted by parasites tend to paralyse our peristaltic action, directly, or, indirectly. If we lack sufficient peristaltic action, our own digestive toxins are not exceted in a timely and healthful manner. Parasites may be poisoning us. We may be assisting their presence, and, poisoning ourselves. The only person who is assured of a destructive parasite presence, is the person who can checked and confirmed their absence. Indications of parasite health interference are often subtle and ignored until they become dramatic. At that point, damage may have been done to our tissues and organs and the parasites may have located themselves such that eradication of them is hazardous and lengthy.

7. Injuries, Growths, Blockages
One could expect that physical injuries could bruise, tear, or, sever nerves and muscles in the abdomen. These are abrupt and dramatic easily visible experiences which it is difficult not to be aware of. It is the more unconscious, subtle, and emotional patterns of tension, built upon long-term experiences of loss (injuries), depression and despair (growths), and blockages (disappointments, fears) that can be difficult to become aware of. There is a considerable potential for persons with CFS-ME to develop these. These WILL contribute to the formation of illness, and/or, the maintaining of poor health, and/or, the prevention of recovery.
If you know what it is, you can change it.

If we are sensitive and have awareness, there is much in the Human world to bring pain. That pain also gives us an opportunity to make, or keep, our lives pleasant .... We can ignore the pain, and nothing improves, and, some things decay/rot. If we ignore the pain, and the experience is likely to be repeated by its connection with our work, the people we know, the environment, our intimate lives, or, are thoughts about ourselves, or others ... unless, they are random and unique instances.

To the extent that we are in contact with other people, live in a complex many options culture, are involved in any form of commerce system/market, are exposed to food toxins, move through clouds of air pollution daily, cannot get really clean water, don't have perfect friends who think Exactly as we do, and, dare I say it ... we are not perfect ourselves ... mistakes, miscommunications, and mess ups WILL occur. We CAN, often, improve OUR destructive behaviors and attitudes. We CAN encourage others to do the same, and, they will, when THEIR pain is enough to get THEIR attention. Unfortunately, it seems, THEIR pain never becomes enough, and, our pain REALLY bothers us.

The Reality is, that we are more aware than many, more sensitive than many others, more able than others (because we have DONE something before, and Learned), and, have the Potential to experience more sadness, and, more Joy. Turning that potential into a Reality is a challenge of Grieving, often, and, reinforcing our positive attitudes. Too often, we do not allow time for these "non-productive" activities. That welcomes all of the distractions that are possible into the mix, and, encourages us to miss turns and bump into more things .. most of which could be avoided.

Working hard and LONG is quite a downer for happiness.
Is it necessary, or, is it an addiction, compulsion, energy block, intense imprinting, or, Basic Personality stubbornness? Is it a cultural or political imposition? Is it a flirting with New Age fantasies that everything should, and can, be heavenly ALL the time, if only, WE, allowed it to be! One can tell that this is a fantasy because no one of us CONTROLS the rest of the world. We have options for participation and choices. We are NOT responsible for the errors, and, choices of others. As best we can, we have to set limits, or, sacrifice our freedom. A great confusion develops when we turn much of our experience into WORK, when it has been PLAY, in the Past, and could be NOW.

I discovered this, for myself, recently, while doing a page in the CFS-ME section. It was "revealed" to me in my Spiritually Guided doing of a topic/page I would never have rationally expected to find it in: "Facts and Therories." This was confirmed to me in the results of a crainialsacral therapy session. Since acquiring CFS-ME, I had experienced a constant background, deep tension in my abdomen

The health (capability to dynamic alternate between relaxed and tense) of this area has much influence on the ability of the organs feeding into, located within, and receiving out of it .. to do their functions. Blood and lymph flow in large amounts into and out from this region; hence, the heart can be depressed in function ... and that can depress the function of just about everything else in the body.

A chronically stressed (tightened) mesentaric root is a major contributor to long-term low blood pressure ... which is a symptom common to people who acquire CFS-ME. There are a number of separate conditions which can result in short-term or long-term tightening of the abdomen. Some are healthful survival responses. Some of these can become unhealthful through long-term reinforcement. Some can become unhealthful by way of severe disruption.

Too much of any positive can transform it into a negative.
Ramping that destruction down to a lower intensity does not mean that health will, or can, return immediately. There are sometimes parallels between how long and how intense we have been particpating and how much damage our extremes have imposed on us. Generally, the longer the exposure to imbalance, the longer the recovery to balance. The higher the intensity can sometimes be related to the severity and extensiveness of the damage done.

Here are some realities:

        Healthful tightening conditions:
      1. escape from attack (survival)
      2. compression during squating
      3. compression during situps
      4. compression during jumping
      5. severe detoxing/cleansing
      6. intellectualization (1)
      7. adrenal fatigue (2)
      8. cold temperature

      Longer-term reinforcement factors:
    • anxiety that a negative WILL repeat
    • anxiety that frustration WILL continue
    • fear that an attack WILL occur
    • specific forms of energy blocks
    • intense restrictive imprinting
    • neurotoxins from parasites
    • mycoplasma infections
    • neurotoxins from insect stings
    • genetic damage/mutations
    • excessive exercise
    • breath holding
    • sleep apnea
    • nutrient insufficiencies
    • rage, hate, vengeance, grief,
    • fighting/conflict

        Severe OR Chronic disruption:
      • torso surgeries
      • heavy metal toxicity
      • physical blows or trauma
      • structural misalignments

      • Basic Personality factor of curiosity

While I had recovered from CFS-ME, I had continued to examine and write about topics connected to it, for 9 months. I had graduated to a feeling that the completion of this section, for publication and sharing with others, was work. This attitude had grown in my mind as an extension of the many, almost continual, personal and relationship sacrifices I had been making in order to COMPLETE the project. This was encouraged by the reality that what I had initially projected would be a 1 or 2 month project had expanded into many months and many broken desired deadlines. The longer the duration, the more impatience I had to resolve. Was such a high degree of focus and involvement necessary?

I had grown to an awareness of and an acceptance of a special reality, for me. Perhaps, someone else, with a different Basic Personality, different resources, and different relationships would have been able to do the same in a much different manner. Perhaps, they would not have tried. Distraction might have dragged them away, and they would have failed, stopped, abandoned the work to others. For me, from the years of working with Spiritual Guidance on mini- and major projects, there is a distinct difference in realities between Physical appreciation and participation, and, Spiritual openness and interaction. Rationally intellectualized and livelihood motivated efforts can be restrained by self-imposed and accepted thresholds of social acceptance and pride. One can start and stop one's involvement in them easily.

In the Physical Reality of "necessary" work, survival, social participation, political and economic boundaries, and relationship commitments ... there is often SECOND/other participants to consult, get feedback from, negotiate with, enourage, supervise, and, accept or reject. With Spiritual Guidance, I adopt a Reality of openness and humility and a willingness to receive, and, often act on, without question or complaint, or, I don't receive the Assistance. To bring the rational distractions and confusion with me into the world of prayer/trance .. is to waste time and energy in a netherworld which is neither, yet seek to answer to both. Such an anarchy of awareness, direction, and opportunity, is, Hell. The exchange in realities is not something I can always DO on an immediate basis. Preparing to Receive may take minutes, or, hours. The more intense and/or longer I have been involved in my Physical life desires, commitments, and demands, the more distractions and attachments I must separate from BEFORE beginning my Guided work. The longer I am commited to the Spiritual, the faster the work is completed, and, the sooner my return to the Joys of the physical.

Major projects had included a dozen .. weeks or month long activities, that resulted in my authoring the huge Project Earth Report (yet to be published), the Balancing Therapy mini-website, a Hypersentitivities mini-website, a Locations mini-website, a Seminars mini-site, a Natural Gas mini-website, the combination of these mini-sites into a major Earthtym.net site, a Mercury dental amalgams mini-site, the addition of many web-resource pages, major coding changes that influenced over 200 webpages, and several semi-commercial web and computer projects for other people. These works" had been intensely absorbing, allowed no time for social or intimate involvements, and resulted in a great amount of "production" in a short period. These had been engaged in over a 12-year duration during which more than 90% of my "work" time had been devoted to "income" mini-projects, and, full-time employment is one of several career applications.

Mini projects were of equally intense, though much shorter ... usually hours or day long, activities. Most often, these involved my planning for or providing a Balancing Session. There were short periods of research for and on specific concerns. There were location moves and minor website updates. There was e-mail and telephone calls. Yet through these times, I was able to integrate personal time for socializing, relaxation, entertainment, intimacy, and the usual daily preferences of hygiene, food acquisition and preparation, cleaning, ... that were largely absent in the "Major" periods.

Working on the CFS-ME pages (mini-site) began with hope, enthusiasm, and optimism. THIS time, the weeks or month long ACCEPTABLE duration, extended, and extended, and extended. The sacrifices, initially accepted as Temporary interruptions in my larger-broader life experience, began to FEEL like ENDLESS drains on those parts of my Physical life which brought me much involvement, contribution, pleasure, challenge, and, happiness. Increasingly, for at least 3 months, the previous-to-this self-awareness, had grown to become one of constant unconscious anxiety centered around GETTING IT DONE. Once, that happened, my reality and freedom of choices would change. Then, QUALITY time and intimacy with my wife could be stabilized, an income would begin again, there would be easily planned social involvements, my Balancing Therapy practice might be restarted, other commercial ventures could be considered, sports activities I gained considerable joy from could be added. That is a LOT to hold back, delay, ignore, sacrifice.

PLAY had become a missing ingredient, and attitude.
What I finally came to realize was that the WAY in which I had involved myself in MOST of my previous Spiritually Guided assisted lifestyle had been one of PLAY. This was "play" as I came to outline it in the CFS-ME coping and recovery skills pages. ALL of those earlier projects had been in the context of play, because they had these: self-direction, continual exploration and learning, a persistence of new discoveries, a positive outcome to some huge emotional, spiritual, and, health challenges. For me, these had been options for fun and joy. There were others which also could return very positive experiences; yet, those were unable to provide an income and often resulted in greater amounts of destructive stress and less independence. It was not a chosen ALTERNATIVE. It was a Guided involvement which brought me daily rewards, including empowering myself and others.

The above exploration of the REALITY of cycles of Involvement (Action/Joy) and Seclusion (Rest/Depression) is something that may only apply to a minority of humanity. It will be relevant and potentially empowering for anyone who has chosen to strengthen their Spiritual involvement in life, to increase their self-awareness and independence, and, to those intent on doing their best, and, receiving the highest Quality of Life. Longer-term, they will experience more Joy and Constructive participation, than most other people. Shorter-term, for days to months, they will experience more sadness, frustration, pain, and challenge while building towards the larger JOY. It will be a benefit to remind oneself of the many small steps one takes EVERY day that CAN bring joy to us through our recognition of their personal benefit, and,

I DO state that this option can be effective for many persons who have more singular or less devastating forms of ill health, including a number of cancers. CFS-ME is defined by a person acquiring any 5 or more of 13 specific acute expressions of chronic illnesses.
