1. YOUR reality = YOUR options
How deep is the ocean?
Some people are enthusiastic about jumping into Life.
They become involved in so many activities, events, and enterprises that they appear to be experts at managing, delegating, defining, organizing, assisting, and initiating. When that is the reality, it is often backed by a long experience of skill-building through graduated exposure. They know their limits. They know how to continually expand those limits and when to do so. They test the waters, learn to read the waters, learn about the climate and tides. They gain an awareness of map reading and interpretation. They store memories of how deep they can plunge depending upon the angle of entry. They also learn how to rise to the surface, avoid obstacles, and swim or paddle-float to the shore. Above all, they project a confidence in their ability to be dynamic rather than inflexible.

HOW we respond is often an extension of what we BELIEVE.
WHAT we believe is often an outcome of our experiences.
We influence our experiences by our CHOICES.
We make our choices by our selection of AUTHORITY.
Where is the greatest source of KNOWLEDGE?
We find our OPTIONS from that authority.
What/Who is the most POWERFUL authority?
The beliefs we have and the limits we accept often decide how Relevant the knowledge is that we retain from the experiences we have. Learning from others who have longer or different histories than ourselves can help us avoid dangers and find opportunities. Fear, our own, or that of others, can turn safety into solitude. Terror, our own, or that of others, can turn challenge into hatred. In solitude, we often learn narrowness of vision. In hatred, we often learn to turn away from that which can save us. Whether we see the forest or the trees individually which make it, may decide on whether we become lost, confused, overwhelmed, hopeful, or, Recovered!

3. More and Greater REALITIES
Conventional, Normal, Known answers, options, behaviors, and beliefs are what keep us STUCK where we are. That may mean STAYING sick, poor, alone, .... IF we want our life to improve in some fundamental way, we can assist in making that change by considering factors and possibilities which are new to us. They must come from areas we have filtered or screened out because of the limiting beliefs we have. Without the THREAT of power and acceptance hanging over us, what are the difficulties in considering new options which could benefit ourselves AND others who seek the benefits we do? IF, those whom we feared and respected so much have not been able to offer us anything better than we have, is it because they really don't Care about us? Perhaps it is because they also do not know other answers and are themselves afraid to look beyond the curtain of NORMAL.
It takes Courage to be a pioneer.
It is always easy to be a follower. Often being one can be a benefit. What happens when the disadvantages outnumber the benefits? Are WE sick enough .. to be courageous? When we reach that point, we will open the window beyond ignorance and view the wisdom that can open before us. Here are a few common empowering beliefs which open the realities to us that exist beyond the safety of the norms we call dependable and safe.
To Recover from a Package of chronic & acute illnesses you will have to consider options which the conventional and alternative authorities and experts do not support. IF they had THE answer, more than 1-1/2 million people (2009) would not continue to be ill with CFS-ME. Nor would they hear often from those they request assistance from that either they would never recover, or, that their recovery would be predictable by following a singular protocol. The ONLY effective protocol that will have you recover is the one that understands CFS-ME as a Package, defines which components of that Package YOU have, and assists YOUR lifesystem to address each weakness in a manner respectful of the interactiveness of the components and of your resources.
A Real Eye Opener.
Let us consider some possibilities about Beliefs.
Beliefs ARE what we justify our actions by.
We may be consciously aware of them, or, they may be unconscious.
They are sometimes personal; often they are shared by many people.
Accurate access to Spiritual Guidance provided the following proportions.
You may have never heard of this source before, know no one who uses it, and not use it yourself. You don't have to believe this just because it is here, nor because I say it is from this Source.
Consider this as an adventure and exploration of a new reality which otherwise might not be available to you. You COULD take the time and devote the energies to develop your own accurate access to Spiritual Guidance, and then compare the results you receive with what I have, and am sharing here. Over time, these may change. Humanity and its cultures and educational systems change. A new reality can provide new solutions to old problems.
As the God I reference is shared by all of us, yet we may use different names to reference It, different spiritual writings, and seaparate religious protocols. For the moment, simply consider on the basis that IF the following is correct, it can be helpful to you ... and YOUR ability to find Recovery solutions which are relevant for YOU.
A Belief is a Commitment.
It is a statement made by us, a concept we treat as Fact, or, a basis for action we have or intend to take. It becomes an expression of our Identity, Role, Relationships, and, a boundary for our empathy, compassion, love, selfishness, vengeance, hate. The following are three Relative Strength assignments of the most common sources of Beliefs. A brief descriptive commentary will follow each. Take away what is useful and leave the rest. You are invited to return again later, to reassess if something is a benefit to your understanding, or, not.

Experience (mine):
When we have had a personal experience, we can become committed to it according to HOW and WHERE and WHEN we had that experience. If we were driving a vehicles and were fully focused, attentive in awareness, skilled in our driving, within the legal and safety limits, without distractions, patient and calm ... and then, were struck by another driver whom we saw drive across into our lane of traffic from their's ... we would have a High degree of certainty about what had happened and who was responsible. Yet, our environment and our consciousness are seldom so ideal. If numerous witnesses to the accident uniformly testified with a different viewpoint than some part of our testimony, we could, often, be swayed to question our own belief in our perception and memory.
Until other witnesses question our experience, we usually assune it to be correct, though, we know that we are not perfect.
FRIENDLY (ritual, imprinted, traditional):
This form of belief is one which FEELS automatic, obvious, and invited. If in our work we are assigned a specific desk in an office, we Believe that it is OUR desk and the location we work from. Every work day, we come into the office and go to our (home) desk, sit down, open the drawers and begin taking out the tools and papers we expect to begin using that day. We may, first or later, check the voice messages received and saved, "for us", on the phone on "our" desk. It has become a Pattern. We repeat it with confidence. We are acknowledged for it. Yet, we do become aware that our work location can, and likely will change. We may become ill, go on vacation, work from home, be promoted/demoted, receive a transfer to another office, be laid off, or quit. At such times, we will NOT be, remain, or return to THIS desk. We all use this form of belief. We know that it can change. We expect such changes to usually occur in a "friendly" environment.
JOY (Gifted, Intuitive, Spiritual Guidance):
There is a calm, satisfying, thankful knowing we sense when we receive information spontaneously and find that it almost always proves to be correct, even if we do not understand the significance of such at the time. Each of these modes are entirely different from each other. Their sources are frequently mistaken or misinterpreted. "Gifted" pertains to information which others give to us. "Intuitive" is information which our Unconscious associates from what we have experienced, seen, or heard. We are actually only consciously aware of less than 20% of what our senses/and brains, detect. "Spiritual Guidance" brings to us knowledge which is from beyond us. There is no manner by which we could have come by this consciously or physically. Each may prove to be highly accurate. While highly accurate, few people have access to this form and use it efficiently.
OUR (authority):
The authority held by social, educational, political, religious, professional, national, ethnic, peer, and other "membership" groups is often known to us as "Our" beliefs. We listen to the experiences of others. We may have similar experiences of our own. Or, the explanation given may appear rationally accurate in detail and plausability. We often desire acceptance by and respect from this group so that we may share in the membership benefits. These Rewards can be highly influential, even imposing. Here, our beliefs may support our actions which contribute to our employment, health, safety, happiness, relationship opportunities, freedom, and even our life. They often do provide a context of truth for the membership. The Power of such large group persuasiveness supports orderliness and uniformity ... human authority structures. When these beliefs become irrelevant, fear-biased, selfish, and worshipped ... disasters of group hatred, vengeance, theft, abuse, and other unequal actions are expressed.
ROLE (others, strangers):
Our "Position" in our workplace, community, institution, relationship, and ethnic group often determines the dynamics of our freedoms and responsibilities. We will have beliefs about the best procedures to efficiently perform our occupational skills. We will have beliefs about who we must take orders from and whom we are to give orders to. Other beliefs will provide us with guidelines which are to determine and sanction our position title, responsibilities, and pay. These "beliefs" are usually determined by others (teachers, directors, leaders, managers, spouses ...), understood by many, and, are likely to change. There will often be suggestions made or counselled with the design of improving the technical proficiency of something.
YES (pride):
This is a subset Belief or a number of the other forms. It is more extreme. It is a denial of one's own fallibility. It represents a Fear that some other people or person will acquire more power or benefits than we will. It also frequently results from jealousy and a desire to unbalance the reality into one's favor. Enemies are always bad, because they have something we don't have, or, they are doing something we would like to do, yet fear the demands or consequences. We can project our "Specialness" by our action or our words. Those who have been prevented from action or participation may consider themselves to be "Victims". Those given privileges, may consider themselves "Better" than others not equally sanctioned. Often, believing that one is Special can prevent one from making relevant changes, and, can qualify one for being excluded, ignored, or disliked. Pride frequently results in our taking actions which conceal something that we avoid taking responsibility for.
Finding the Truth to set us free from CFS-ME, or any other routine of unhappiness, disappointment, illness, or failure in academics, occupation, or personal relationship .. WILL require us to be Persistent in our search for details which are Relevant for us. There is no one else who is as invested as we are in finding out how WE can live a constructive, calm, pleasing life of participation and achievement. If you have CFS-ME and truly want to Recover, you don't have the time to Wait for a Rescue. Neither do you have the energy to go speeding off in all directions. YOUR Beliefs will either Benefit you, or, PREVENT your Recovery. Whichever it is, YOU will be Responsible for the result more than anyone else.
Make a CHOICE!
