Mattresses and sleeping services
are often not flat or comfortable. Be innovative. A folded towel can cover protruding and butting springs in a mattress or help fill a depression in the middle of the mattress. Unfolded complete issues of newspapers also provide cushioning from sharp or hard or broken mattress springs. Poor sleep and poor posture are real downers for the next day.
A fresher air smell
can be had if the air in the room is stale, or otherwise to your dislike --- by putting a bar of soap next to your pillow.
