Avoiding & Getting Parasites.

How you got your parasites.

There is no sense in following parasite-ridding practices if you continue to indulge in parasite-attraction practices. While guidelines to a parasite-reduced lifestyle are provided in the next section, some specifics will be mentioned here.

EVERY CUBIC CENTIMETER or cubic 1/2 inch of soil has tens of thousands of parasites. These are in all sizes of "small" and many forms of structure. Without mycorrhizal fungi, trees, particularly in the tropical rainforests, would practically starve. These fungi digest the decomposing litter on and in the soil, and, through their attachment to the roots of the trees ... funnel concentrated nutrients into the tree. No fungi, no forest.

SLASH & BURN DEFORESTATION destroys the near-surface fungi, and, the deep porous soil, no longer sheltered from daily heavy precipitation ... has its nutrients washed down so deep as to be beyond the reach of any seedling or tree roots. After several years of intensive agricultural cropping, you have a man-made desert with little hope of recovery.

COMPARE THIS "ECOLOGY" to that of a human.
A human living in a country in which dairy products are relatively common acquires thousands of parasites from its mother at birth or from "cultured" dairy foods thereafter --- yoghurt, cheeses, .... These grow into populations in the billions in the intestines. When we drink cow's milk, the lactobacilli parasites digest the lactose and produce nutrients which the human can obtain nutrients from. If the human takes antibiotics, either pharmaceutical or strong herbal preparation, the parasites are killed. Curry is an herbal example. The action is much the same as a fire sweeping through the forest.

WITH THE NEXT DRINK OF MILK the human intestine and its remaining flora cannot process it, and, it is interpreted as toxic by some biochemical mechanisms while other resident parasites produce toxins from it. Diarrhea, headaches, nausea, and other symptoms may follow. Unchecked, all the nutrients taken in may be washed through the digestive tract by this repeating orgasm of diarrhetic expulsion. In the worst cases, the human will dehydrate and die unless milk products are excluded from the diet and/or lactobacillus bacteria are again introduced to the gut. This is particularly true of infants and small children. Millions of infants have died from the foreign goodwill gesture of powdered milk.

From the ground up.

PARASITES, like tetanus and nematodes, (including Hookworms) are also found in the soil. Soil can contain as many as 100 million nematodes /sq. m. They attack the roots, stems, and leaves of crops. They also infest all domesticated animals: cattle, fowl, pets, humans. These can enter by way of scratches, wounds, eating foods which are not thoroughly clean, or, be ingested through a practice of sucking one's finger, chewing one's finger- or toe-nails, scratching an itch, rubbing an eye. Obviously, cleanliness is closer to "Godliness" good health than to disease development.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A FARMER, construction laborer, herdsman, or gardener to attract such parasites. Persons in such occupations are more at risk than apartment-living white-collar workers due to their environment and the demands of their tasks. Yet it only takes one exposure to dirty food to receive a potentially lifelong chronic illness, or, challenge death. At least 99.9% of this risk can be avoided in North America. Walking barefoot eliminates the protections. Vacationers often bring home something unexpected. Schools have the mandate to prepare new members to the society for a better life. This responsibility has been greatly avoided if the rate of hypersensitivities and chronic illnesses is any indication of their effectiveness.

NORTH AMERICAN AGRICULTURE presents us with another "ecological" example. Before the invasion of Europeans and their intensive farming approaches, most of North America was covered with a wide variety of grasses, brush, trees, and wildlife. This high species diversity, also typical of the untouched parts of the Brazilian rainforest --- meant that any pest species which preyed on an individual of a tree species or grass species had a difficult time finding another individual of the species to attack.

"Wild" nature versus "Humanized" nature.

WITHOUT HUMAN INTERFERENCE, pests roam around looking for their next prey. They themselves are more subject to predation by a tremendous variety of insect carnivores, particularly birds. After agriculture was introduced, large expanses of trees were stripped away and replaced with intensively planted singular species of grasses such as oats, wheat, rye, and alfalfa. This practice provided the benefits of mass planting and gathering through cultivation and storage. The disadvantages included obsessive and intermittent work schedules and an easy meal for insects.

AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS have always had to endure periodic massive insect attacks resulting in crop failure and potential famine. Agricultural intensified cropping benefits from more even and direct sunlight and moisture exposure than mixed plant species plantings. They are also much more susceptible to climate and weather changes. Heavy rain or high winds can flatten crops and destroy them. Greater rainfall than optimum can result in moisture containment and fungal diseases. Lesser rainfall can retard crop growth and produce dry, brittle stems which invite insect attack.

WIDESPREAD LAND USE CHANGES always influence the local climate to be drier and more extreme in temperature variation than previously. We know this from more recent geographical studies. North American history has demonstrated that since the European settlement periodic parasitic infestations have spread like a plague through such crops and species as oats, wheat, tobacco, Oak and Spruce trees and many others.

OVER THE PAST 100 YEARS, species diversity for wheat crops is estimated to have fallen from over 50 varieties to less than 6. Without species variation, parasites can multiply exponentially until all of the crop is destroyed. Agriculturalists have warned of this ticking time-bomb for more than 2 decades.

Nutritional farming.

A SPECIES DIVERSITY OF CROPS also exists in humans.
That is, of foods ingested. If you rotate your food choices and don't have cheese noodles, milk, high carbohydrates, high fat content, or meat every day --- you will encourage fewer parasite infestations. This seems simple enough since the food selection for most North Americans over the past 50 years has greatly expanded due to supermarket grocery shopping in urban areas and a high population concentration into the urban areas from the rural regions over the past 100 years.

THE MULTI-CULTURALISM RESULTING FROM IMMIGRATION and the extension of plantation economies in less developed countries for the past 75 years ... has afforded North Americans a wide selection of foods. A danger comes with such foods in that endemic parasitism elsewhere can be imported with the cultures and the foods. Tapeworms are commonly acquired by eating raw or poorly cooked pork, fish, beef, or other flesh. As population has stripped the country bare of its trees, bushes and wood in India and elsewhere, there is less supply of cooking resources. Poorly cooked foods encourage tapeworm and other parasite infestations.

IN HIGHLY COMPETITIVE AND MATERIALISTIC ECONOMIES like those in North America, it is easy for people to relegate food preparation to a low priority. Everything else seems to come first for many men and women. Meals are hurriedly prepared and adequate cooking times for health and nutrition are often not observed. A few seconds or minutes longer would mean the difference between parasite transfer and parasite avoidance. Add to this that there has been a severe degradation of kitchen cleanliness and self-discipline practices and it is easy to understand why chronic illness have expanded geometrically through the population and now reach endemic proportions. It is becoming more difficult to find an adult or child who does not have symptoms of one chronic illness or another.

APPEARANCES CAN BE DECEIVING.
Over the past 70 years, the North American diet has changed from rural subsistence, high enzyme, fresh, raw foods to mass produced, chemically stimulated growth and pest-resistance, processed, refined, cooked, enzyme dead, high fat and carbohydrate, low fiber foods. For someone aged 35 or less, the former nutritional culture may be oblivious since they may never have experienced it. Now, with a largely urban population, industrialized farms, and a half-asleep culture ... to generate such an experience takes careful planning and discipline.

Segregation > Inexperience > Unawareness.

AN IDEALIZED EXPERIENCE DEPRIVES the consumer masses and continues to pressure farmers, through the market, to produce picture-perfect produce --- as the academic intellectual perfectionist would draw it, rather than as nature commonly provides it. Tomato farmers are now forced to use bioengineered crops and huge amounts of chemicals to counteract a tendency for fungal and blight disease associated with urban and industrial air pollution.

FARMERS DO NOT CONTROL URBAN REALITIES.
They have no control over urban pollution, nor urban perceptions. Their experience is direct with reality and does not depend upon the artistic idealizations portrayed by media artists. Their choice is to conform or go out of business. Forcing nature to abide by our childish and low esteem intolerance to reality continually makes us subservient to the chemical industry which affords us with impaired immunology so that we attract parasitic and chronic diseases.

OUR CHEMICALS KILL THE NORMAL ADVERSARIES of the parasites: birds, bees, snakes and lizards --- leaving us to use more chemicals. If we want true change in our health, we will have to change our awareness. If we want a true change in our awareness, then we will have to take information such as that on these pages and practice it. We have demonstrated as a culture that until we are forced to see a benefit in change by personal health disaster connected to current practices, we are unlikely to consider change. That option is always there. We could care enough about our health to be self-directed in following more healthful lifestyles ... but will we ?

Small decisions/indecisions --

BIG differences.

THE VARIETY OF FOOD "SPECIES" no longer matter since the benefit of the variety --- enzymes, fiber, vitamins no longer remains. Enzymes help digestion, that is, the conversion of foods into biochemical elements which can be absorbed by our bodies. As acids, they make the human digestive tract a hostile environment for many destructive human parasites. Enzymes also digest parasites.

FATTY ACIDS DETER FUNGAL GROWTH.
Natural fat is broken down into fatty acids by friendly bacteria living on our skin. Balance is the key to parasite control and health. Wash too often and you leave no protective oils. Dry skin is susceptible to shrinkage and cracking which can produce itching and burning sensations. Scratching can introduce germs and harmful bacteria and makes attack by mites and roundworms.

DON'T WASH OFTEN ENOUGH and skin residues, decomposing oils, dirt and grime accumulated from smog, dust and spores in the air, work related substances ... provide an ideal environment for bacterial and fungal growth as well as the presence of flea and lice eggs. To top off this destructive cocktail, house fly and mosquito bites and droppings can carry viruses and the eggs of other parasites.

THERE IS A SHORT CUT.
The only way you can reach a balance of cleanliness for health is through awareness and self-discipline. These pages can assist your awareness. You are responsible for your self-discipline. The cleansing requirements of each person are personalized by their diet, environment, work practices, socializing practices, habits, and level of health.
You have to know and respect yourself.

Proactivity or Inactivity?

FIBER AND WATER HELP by keeping the waste materials of digestion moving to the exit. The usual North American diet slows food down with low fiber, depressive drugs like nicotine, caffeine and alcohol --- and heavy processed carbohydrates. More sedentary occupations reduce the natural physical massage of the digestive tract, circulatory and lymph systems leaving them more susceptible to parasitic invasion.

HEAVY FATS AND OILS (deep-fried or fried foods), petroleum-based oil medications (Vaseline and low-cost skin creams), and synthetic petroleum-based foods (low-cost ice cream, coffee creamer) all serve to clog one's lymph system and coat one's intestinal villi. Sexual activity with an avoidance of sensual expression pacifies our lymph, digestive and circulation systems ... as well as the nervous system. Yes, that includes the brain. So, now we have parasite heaven.

OUR DIET AND LIFESTYLE CAN INVITE parasitic invasions.
Any parasite can take up lodging in the intestinal tract and gorge itself on a slow moving host which has little biochemical resistance, provides oils to pack food stores and decaying products into the corrugations of the intestines and colon, with a selection of pre-processed foods which give it less work and more energy to reproduce. Similar scenarios could be added for numerous other kinds of parasites which prefer other parts of the body and other "foods".

Avoiding parasite attacks.

From the foregoing, you already can deduce some strategies. These include the following:

  1. EAT
    • fresh vegetables: washed, scrubbed or skinned, raw or juiced;
    • fresh fruits: washed, raw or crushed, plane or mixed;
    • whole grains: washed, ground or crushed, raw or baked;
    • fish: washed, well-cooked, spiced.

  2. MOVEMENT
    • regular physical work, sport, or hobby;
    • including gentle, rhythmic, stretching, massaging;
    • regular sexual activity (frequency, not quantity).

  3. PLAN TO
    • reclaim your life for the future: Get Balanced;
    • learn assertiveness to maintain and express your focus;
    • undergo a complete parasite cleanse on your next holiday;
    • live without chronic illnesses;

  4. WASH YOUR
    • hands before and after using the washroom;
    • hands before and after preparing foods;
    • hands after touching public railings, door knobs, handles;
    • hands and face after petting pets or touching livestock;
    • feet after walking barefoot on anything other than grass;
    • genitals immediately before and after sexual activity;
    • body daily, particularly after a sweating-cool down period;
    • clothing and bedding, at least weekly.

ENRICHED HEALTH IS ENCOURAGED BY each of these factors --- physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, what are we going to do? That these choices are often NOT mirrored in the extended families of close contacts (spouses, children, close relatives and friends and associates) should not be surprising. Health ignorance comes from a focus on materialism, money and power where abuse, deception, and manipulation of others has been accepted and promoted within universities, politics, law, science, mass media, and business.

AN INABILITY TO SEE THE CHOICES beyond the status quo and an unwillingness to change obvious anti-health behaviors is a sign of obsessive-compulsive enslavement. Such attitudes and behaviors are often not only the result of peer pressure and cultural indoctrination. Past traumas, within one's life and within one's heritage --- are expressed in such a manner and can be transferred to those near to one.

WE CAN UNDERSTAND THIS PASSIVE DYNAMIC now in terms of personal and hereditary Energy Blocks. If you can see the light but cannot move yourself into it; remember that you have to open the door before you can go outside and enjoy the sun. Getting rid of your Energy Blocks is the best first move to allowing yourself to get rid of parasites. The REALITY is that you have to be able to expect the probable. It only took one incident to infect me at the age of 8. It could have killed me then, and it almost did when I was in my 40's. IF you live long enough, you WILL get a negative parasite infestation. Periodic testing and relevant cleansing are the only longer-term safeguards.
