CERATO relates to the principle of inner certainty, the 'inner voice', intuition.

A person accepts one's own correct judgements, and is self-acknowledging aware of this, in the positive Cerato state.

A decision has to be made: the answer comes intuitively, and the rational mind accepts this intuitive response and puts it into practice with conviction. Unconscious stability arises from the automatic confirmation found by cross-checking one's intuition with Spiritual Guidance.

A second of openness and reverence saves the great anxiety and long delay, even paralysis of action which can come from the rational doubt of unconscious projection apart from Spiritual Guidance from the Higher Self. Failure to trust one's often erroneous physically-centered identity factors becomes trust in a process of acknowledgement of self working in team fashion with one's Higher Self.

The Cerato strength consists of the Personality perceiving and acknowledging the role of the Higher Self. It recognizes that Spiritual Guidance through the Higher Self is able to guide us to what is best in us and for us. It is willing and pleased to examine and integrate information from many sources in the outside world when and as Guided to by the Higher Self. This may include known and obscure theories, doctrines, research, and the experience of others.

Often calming to others, are people who have a Positive Cerato strength who by their confident and assertive responses and willingness to listen and encourage as and when relevant.

Many people who are in the positive Cerato state are aware that they know little of what can be known, know a great amount more than many others, and that any knowledge they require and are able to work with is available to them with the assistance of their Higher Self.

They have a willingness to share the benefits of the knowledge they have gained through integration of self with Higher Self, based on personal experience and success.

People who appear to know just when to take a certain direction, follow a particular sequence of actions or choices, arrive in a timely way at known and previously unknown locations, and, seldom fall into excess or intensity --- evidence a positive Cerato strength.

The positive side of Cerato energy is an attitude of quiet certainty, so that no argument, ridicule, threat, or imposition -- however convincing, authoritative, or fear inducing it could be, will distract or sway one from a decision one has recognized to be the best one.

Dreams may be greatly stimuated by a positive Cerato attitude and may be better remembered than if one is in a negative state.

Influences that encourage the development of negative Cerato states and energy blocks include authoritarian patterns in families, classrooms, religious and business institutions during which personal initiative is detered, denied, and penalized in support of the sanction of the parent, teacher, priest, minister, manager or owner.

Other negative Cerato encouraging events may be associated with absolute control by others as in kidnappings, abductions or imprisonment. Harsh penalties, physically or emotionally, enacted on one after following one's inner certainty, and, harsh failures resulting from the following of bad advice received from others also encourages negative Cerato states.

Toxic (irrelevant) shame and (irrelevant) guilt are often projected as negative judgements on oneself or others. These often result in anxieties of confusion between inconsistencies of following other's advice with acceptance and success versus following one's own inner dialogue with success and aceptance versus following either of the foregoing with either a lack of acceptance or/and a lack of success. Trying to satisfy all possibilities often proves frustrating for all concerned.

Introducing a structure of personal experience of reverence and no-emotion activities into one's lifestyle can encourage a positive Cerato attitude. These may include, when indicated on a personal basis, meditation, prayer, accurate access to Spiritual Guidance, yoga, tai chi, contact with nature in wilderness or well maintained animal and plant reserves. These are frequently best experienced, for the purpose here, by oneself without the distraction of others.
