PREFACE
This page is an example of how one can take the original description of the spiritual Principle addressed by the specified Bach Flower Remedy noted in the reference, at the bottom of this page, and reframe it into a learning tool to assist you to build a new coping skill --- a constructive attitude and behavior pattern.
The description in the book is BEST for a person who has the energy block or is going through a session to release that block. The description by Scheffer is largely of what a destructive attitude and pattern of the spiritual Principle would be like if one had this particular type of energy block. That description enables awareness to increase and allows the Reptilian Structure to more inclusively bring together the components of the block concerned, when indicated, so that it can be released.
AFTER the energy block is gone, one May still find it helpful to counter the still present IMPRINTING that has also been imposed on the Identity by the person's environment. This is NOT always the case. Only about 37% of my clients would benefit from this. Only 11% NEED this benefit to make their improvement assured and hopeful against an environment that encourages the negative Principle. Usually, these are INTENSE people.

CHERRY PLUM relates to the principle of Openness and Composure.
When a Basic Personality is able to bear extreme external and internal challenges which would often stop or delay others, one likely has a Positive Cherry Plum perspective. This requires a full harmony between one's Higher Self and one's Basic Personality with the other Identity elements of Reptilian Structure, Ego (Personal values), and SuperEgo (Social standards) looking to one's Personal Spirit in trust. It is with such a dynamic that the individual can receive the insights and awareness required to cope with confidence with new and powerful forces.
A dependency upon one's Ego (Personal values) and/or SuperEgo (Social attitudes) to the exclusion of Spiritual Guidance, on the approach to times of critical change, is like having a trainee engineer being left in charge of a nuclear reactor just before it begins to fail and endanger safety. The Personality quickly adopts great fear from the realization that neither conscious Identity element is capable of the skills and knowledge that will be required to avert or resolve the growing emergency. The Identity potentially will become responsible for events which are projected into great disaster.
To recover from a negative Cherry Plum state, one must allow oneself to be open to new ideas and concepts which appear to threaten the orderliness and security on which the Ego and SuperEgo rest their significance. Perhaps known only as a husband and a public transit driver earlier, economic and health changes have now resulted in lay off and abandonment. Long-term held expectations and projections have now come to an end and the future looks bleak and bereft of options if one is to see oneself as a multiple failure and now worthless worker. This fantasy of the ideal future held through the past is now best to be reframed into the reality that change will always occur and an ideal future can only be built through a constant readjustment in the present in preparation for that future.
To ensure the avoidance of negative Cherry Plum states, one is best to always have one's team of Identity elements working together for their mutual benefits. This they will attain through the support of their Personal Spirit enabling its clear accessing of Spiritual Guidance. Constant mentoring and revelations will be received which can inform one of changes in the outer social and political world. These can be adapted and responded to in a timely and optimum manner and with one's abilities and opportunities growing and maintaining one's value relevant with the present reality. One need never feel worthless nor unwanted, sacrificed nor mistreated. One's Mission continues to unfold as influenced by the choices of others and the best efforts and abilities of oneself.
