#29, STAR of BETHLEHEM Remedy, Spiritual Positive,
Awakening and Reorientation.

PREFACE
This page is an example of how one can take the original description of the spiritual Principle addressed by the specified Bach Flower Remedy noted in the reference, at the bottom of this page, and reframe it into a learning tool to assist you to build a new coping skill --- a constructive attitude and behavior pattern.

The description in the book is BEST for a person who has the energy block or is going through a session to release that block. The description by Scheffer is largely of what a destructive attitude and pattern of the spiritual Principle would be like if one had this particular type of energy block. That description enables awareness to increase and allows the Reptilian Structure to more inclusively bring together the components of the block concerned, when indicated, so that it can be released.

AFTER the energy block is gone, one May still find it helpful to counter the still present IMPRINTING that has also been imposed on the Identity by the person's environment. This is NOT always the case. Only about 37% of my clients would benefit from this. Only 11% (usually the more intense) need this benefit to make their improvement assured and hopeful against an environment that encourages the negative Principle.

STAR of BETHLEHEM relates to the soul qualities of Awakening and Reorientation.

A person who remains calm, alert, responsive, strong, and vital in situations of intense physical, emotional, intellectual, or spiritual challenge is demonstrating positive Star of Bethlehem traits.

A person who has just been in a severe auto accident in which his car has been struck, totally turned around, and written off by a drunk and speeding driver -- recovers conscious awareness in momentary shock and calmly takes in the surrounding. In a state of reverence and no-emotion, he carefully discerns all of the details. He is physically fine without a scratch or bruise. His seat is twisted, the car is turned around. There is a lot of damage. There is no fire. His passengers are conscious and also calm although hurt. He enquires of them of their exact condition. He gets out of the car and assists them to get out, or, to be comfortable. An ambulance arrives. He answers the questions of the attendants, helps as is relevant, and stays out of their way to allow them to do their tasks. He listens to all and observes all with a focus of trying to understand and trying to resolve as best as can be. He is in a positive Star of Bethlehem state.

Other persons observing the Positive Star of Bethlehem person are stunned by his calm, self-directedness and self-control. They have likely only experienced persons in similar situations which are hysterically acting out, reporting incoherently about the accident and their injuries, or, finding it difficult to remain both conscious and alert. It is easy in such situations for one's conscious mind to try to place blame, grieve uncontrollably, project terror of greater magnitude than the reality, resolve confusion through spurious and magical rationalizations, and, to both build great anxiety from one's self-centered perspective and to cry in order to release such anxiety. The positive Star of Bethlehem person keeps contact with Spiritual Guidance throughout, searching for answers and direction to the necessary confusion of the experience.

The critical element which decides the degree of constructive outcome from such extreme experiences is HOW the person chooses to address the extreme confusion which appears immediately, and, HOW they choose to interact to resolve such difficulties or make the best of them for themselves and others involved. Proactive preparation for accident intervention, security maintenance, and disease prevention can all be helpful in preventing sudden change from being reacted to with panic. It can enable such change to be coped with through mental focus, emotional calm, and intellectual participation. The confidence and hopefulness available from a past frequently experienced pattern of accurate Spiritual Guidance access and beneficial outcomes can make for an almost automatic transition into the spiritually receptive state from which Grace, Revelation, and Humility enable the Reorientation necessary for a conscious reawakening from the clash of disaster.

Encouragement of the Positive Star of Bethlehem state in others at the scene of a tragedy can best be done by responding in these ways:

  • Express the state yourself;
  • Listen, observe, ask, reflect, integrate;
  • Acknowledge your strengths and limitations;
  • Be alert, calm, confident, self-directed;
  • Remove others from the presence of danger.

Administration of the Bach Flower Star of Bethlehem and/or Rescue Remedies will also assist the person in adopting a positive Star of Bethlehem state and avoid building energy blocks from the traumatic experience.

    HOW we respond is often an extension of what we BELIEVE.

    WHAT we believe is often an outcome of our experiences.
    We influence our experiences by our CHOICES.
    We make our choices by our selection of AUTHORITY.
    Where is the greatest source of KNOWLEDGE?
    We find our OPTIONS from that authority.
    What/Who is the most POWERFUL authority?

Spiritual Guidance is always available to us when
we are sincere in our request for it.

GUIDELINE
If you wish to create your own reframed version of a Bach Remedy spiritual PRINCIPLE description to use for your chosen positive imprinting through repetitive exposure, consider the following.

  • Negative expressions of spiritual states are extremes, not good or bad according to some authoritarian personal election. The positive expression is seldom the opposite of the negative extreme. Look for the difference in context and the improvement in relevancy as an indicator of good choices of words.

  • Personalize your description with words like "I", "She", "My", and others.

NEGATIVE <--- ---> POSITIVE
physical shock <--- ---> inner strength
