PREFACE
This page is an example of how one can take the original description of the spiritual Principle addressed by the specified Bach Flower Remedy noted in the reference, at the bottom of this page, and reframe it into a learning tool to assist you to build a new coping skill --- a constructive attitude and behavior pattern.
The description in the book is BEST for a person who has the energy block or is going through a session to release that block. The description by Scheffer is largely of what a destructive attitude and pattern of the spiritual Principle would be like if one had this particular type of energy block. That description enables awareness to increase and allows the Reptilian Structure to more inclusively bring together the components of the block concerned, when indicated, so that it can be released.
AFTER the energy block is gone, one May still find it helpful to counter the still present IMPRINTING that has also been imposed on the Identity by the person's environment. This is NOT always the case. Only about 37% of my clients would benefit from this. Only 11% (usually the more intense) need this benefit to make their improvement assured and hopeful against an environment that encourages the negative Principle.

WILD OAT relates to the soul qualities of Mission, Vocation and Purposefulness.
A person who is calm and clear about what he or she is best to do with their energies and talents and has chosen to be committed to choices supporting that direction, as confirmed with their Higher Self -- is in the positive Wild Oat state.
They have a daily feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction about their efforts because they know that they have made their decisions with Spiritual Guidance and their experience has confirmed the positive direction and focus of those choices. Even when the outcome is disappointing in the near term, they are aware that others also have choice and that many do not seek Spiritual Guidance which would bring greater harmony.
A Wild Oat person will be one who has a Basic Personality strength of leadership, and/or creativity with sexual influence of wanting to share with others in a positive way. They will have the opportunity to develop their interests and capabilities and acquire much social respect and power yet these opportunities may be lost or squandered due to attempts to exploit themselves by following the directions suggested by both well-meaning and manipulative persons. Others may seek to use the talents of the Wild Oat person for their own ends including materially ambitious spouses, associates, and employers.
A wide range of capabilities and a Basic Personality with many strengths may sound attractive, exciting, and powerful to others who have lesser scope within which to work. A wider scope demands a greater focus if it is to be used with the greatest benefit and efficiency. A water pump may be hooked to hoses at a fire and used to control or extinguish the fire and minimize the damage. If too many hoses are attached to the pump the water pressure and volume at the end of the hoses will drop until the result is useless. One hose on the pump may send a strong stream of water 60 feet into toward and into the blaze. Five hoses on the same pump may result in the stream splashing out of each only a distance of 15 feet. Much potential may be lost through an inability to recognize relevant limits and boundaries in how to best apply it.
Wild Oat types tend to be individualistic as an extension of the creative and powerful capabilities of their Basic Personality. They are interested in many things and this lends itself to their receiving more opportunities than many others. They are often on the edge of society for they never fit smoothly into peer and political groups which demand a narrow scope and a strong sense of loyalty to a human authority other than themselves. Their attempt to find acceptance in such groups are largely mistakes of a rational attraction to the image of the group rather than the reality of its choices and actions.
Persons who participate in many groups in an intense manner for a relatively short period are indicative of negative Wild Oat types. Once they discover the political reality of the group as different from the ideal, they will often leave it with dissatisfaction and disappointment. This inability to integrate the reality of the individualities of others with their own and to realize how they can contribute without controlling the outcome often results in difficulties with commitment. This can lead to infidelities and object-oriented sexual relationships as the person attempts to find a partner more equal to their personal scope of talents than their current group, team, company, profession, or intimate relationship.
Domineering parents, teachers, religious leaders, and political systems are often the origins of traumatic experiences resulting in negative Wild Oat energy blocks. Having denied and rejected the wide scope of capabilities of the young Wild Oat Personality, the individual adopts a reactive response of always trying to express all of those denied traits later whenever an opportunity presents itself. The difficulty of this "try everything" approach is that deception may be engaged in for earlier denied options, and, self-denial may discard caution where self-awareness that could have been gained from earlier experience could provide a guideline.
Seeking to impose one's capabilities on the outside world in order to receive the acknowledgement earlier withheld from them is the self-centred compulsion of the person with a Wild Oat energy block. The unconscious obsession with achieving for the sake of acknowledgement will never be adequate to compensate for the LOSS of love which the young person has looked for from their domineering significant mentor or parent. This search for the magical choice and activity which will remove the energy block compulsive pattern can never be found for that is not how energy blocks are released.
If the pattern is imprinted and not the result of an energy block, one may take a number of directions which will singly and cumulatively bring the self-awareness, self-confidence, and focus which will be required for an experience of contented involvement.
- Use professional astrology to find your Personality factors;
- Recognize that no human knows all the answers you need;
- Learn responsible assertive communication and humility;
- Don't get involved unless you commit to a duration of months;
- Learn how to clearly access Spiritual Guidance and use often.
The above tactics may also be necessary for some persons who have released their energy blocks and require the repetitive experience of positive behaviors to make their response easier and more intuitive.
Parents can encourage the Positive expression of their Wild Oat children by doing these:
- Determine the Personality traits of your child;
- Acknowledge the Personality traits of your child;
- Realize that every strength has a corresponding weakness;
- Choose to encourage the strengths openly and personally;
- Choose to discourage the weaknesses with restrictions;
- Assert your own standards and values without excuse;
- Tell your child often that you love them;
- Spend daily review time with your child;
- Don't use fear to impose authority;
- Communicate assertively;
- Demonstrate tolerance and patience;
- Learn from the experiences of your child;
- Share relevant experiences with your child;
- Ask your child to make decisions;
- Acknowledge the decisions of your child;
- Allow your child to learn by making small mistakes;
- Ensure that your child learn self-care skills;
- Acknowledge your own errors, shame, and forgiveness;
- Encourage your child to learn a meditative technique;
- Request Spiritual Guidance often and without secrecy.
Wild Oat persons make up less than 20% of the world population yet they have the potential to improve or frustrate the lives of 60% of the remainder. They may be in this category because they have energy blocks and once the blocks are removed, so also may the negative expression of Wild Oat dissipate. Many persons who are intense are forced into this type of behavior until their intensity is moderated by the loss of high intensity, hidden, and regular energy blocks, PLUS imprinted patterns AND learn to accept themselves and look to Spiritual Guidance for smart decision making. Great waste or great benefit will be gained by society and the individual depending upon how we assertively and responsibly raise our children and how respectfully and tolerantly we are to each other.
